Our Company operates on a “promotion from within” policy that has resulted in thousands of employees and their families improving the quality of their lives.
Entry-level store positions within the Shoprite Group would typically be till packers, cashiers and shelf packers. With motivation and training, these positions prepare one for department controller positions, in which the incumbent assists with the management of a store department; or administrative/clerical careers such as receiving controller and pricing controllers within the busy cash office. If working with merchandise is your thing, then think about a career in one of our busy delis or meat markets and you could end up running one of these exciting departments.
By beginning at an entry-level position, an employee has the opportunity to learn, to grow and demonstrate their knowledge, skills and abilities.
Generally these positions do not require any previous experience in the retail field. If you are interested in our retail positions you could apply in person at the nearest store. Click on Store Locator for an address list of all our stores.
