Boerewors Sishebo

 

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 ½ onions, chopped
1 tablespoon Rajah Mild & Spicy curry powder
1 teaspoon Robertson’s Steak & Chop Spice
2 tomatoes chopped
400g boerewors, sliced
2 cups water
2 cups pumpkin, peeled and cubed
1 Knorrox Beef stock cube
2 tablespoons Knorr Tasty Rich Oxtail Soup with BBQ spice

 

Method:


- In a pot, brown the onion in oil
- Add the Rajah curry powder, Robertsons Steak & Chop Spice and tomatoes and fry for about two minutes
- Add the sliced boerewors and fry until well browned
- Add the pumpkin, 2 cups of water and stock cube, turn down the heat and simmer for 20 minutes
- Just before serving mix the Knorr Tasty soup powder with 4 tablespoons of water to make a smooth paste and add it to the pot
- Allow to simmer for a further 5 minutes to thicken
- Serve with rice or pap
- Serves 4-6
