| Usage Instructions | Wear gloves all through the relaxing process. Do a strand test before applying the relaxer. Apply relaxer cream on a small section of hair. When time is up, rinse and shampoo with Dark and Lovely Precise Colour Signal Neutralising Shampoo. If results are satisfactory proceed with application. If irritation or breakage occurs do not use. Part hair into 4 sections, and base scalp with a protective cream around the hairline, ears and nape of neck. Set timer. Start application from the back of the head to the front and avoid applying generous amounts of cream without touching the scalp.
On virgin hair (not relaxed) apply from mid ends to hair ends first and then apply to the roots. For touch-up application, apply only to new growths. Smooth hair with back of comb, without pulling. When time is up, thoroughly rinse out of hair with lukewarm water, making sure the water does not come into contact with eyes. Shampoo with the Dark & Lovely Precise Colour Signal Neutralising Shampoo until the lather turns from pink to white. Dry and style as desired. |
