| Benefits & Features |
- A non-slip rubber grip zone is incorporated into the barrel for enhanced comfort and control during extended use.
- A cushioned lead mechanism provides a high level of break resistance by absorbing pressure, making the pencil suitable for various writing styles and uses with different lead grades.
- The pencil includes a retractable, rigid, cylindrical lead sleeve that makes it pocket-safe and ideal for use with rulers and templates, as the sleeve does not slide back during use.
- An eraser is integrated into the push-button at the top of the pencil, providing a quick and convenient way to make corrections.
- The design features ISO colour coding on the barrel, which indicates the lead diameter (0.7mm in this case) for easy identification among a collection of pencils with different lead sizes.
- A sturdy metal clip, push-button, and tip are included for durability and secure attachment to notebooks or pockets.
- Refilling the pencil is straightforward and designed to be efficient, with the ability to easily insert new leads.
- The pencil's body is made of plastic with a metal clip, push-button, and tip, providing a balance between lightweight design and sturdy construction.

| Usage Instructions |
- Grip the pencil by the barrel, near the silver tip. Ensure a firm, but relaxed hold to prevent hand fatigue during prolonged use. The pencil features a ridged, textured grip section to aid in this.
- To extend the lead, press the push button at the top end of the pencil. Each press extends the lead by a specific increment. Continue pressing until the desired lead length is achieved for writing or drawing. A maximum of two to three presses is typically sufficient.
- For fine-line drawing or precise writing, a longer lead extension is useful. For heavier shading or vigorous writing, a shorter lead extension is recommended to prevent breakage. The lead is a standard 0.7mm thickness.
- To retract the lead, press the push button at the top and, while holding it down, gently push the lead back into the metal tip. This prevents accidental breakage when not in use.
- To replace the lead, remove the push button at the top of the pencil. Inside the barrel, a small opening is visible. Insert up to three new 0.7mm lead refills into this opening. It is recommended to not overfill the barrel to prevent jamming.
- To remove the eraser, gently pull the push button from the top of the pencil. The eraser is located on the underside of this button. The eraser is designed for small, precise corrections.
- To sharpen the lead, the Staedtler mechanical pencil does not require a sharpener. The lead itself is a constant 0.7mm thickness. The pencil maintains a consistent line width as it is used, eliminating the need for sharpening.
- To clip the pencil to a pocket or notebook, use the sturdy, integrated metal clip located on the side of the barrel. Slide the clip over the edge of the material.
