Zanele’s Hot Cross Bun & Pecan Nut Pudding

Description

If you’re in need of ideas for your Easter desserts, look no further! This hot cross bun recipe is a great way to use leftover hot cross buns – or just to indulge in this Easter favourite!

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 200 ºC. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla essence. 
    
2. In an ovenproof baking tray, layer the hot cross buns and drizzle with melted butter.

3. Pour the egg mixture over the hot cross buns, then sprinkle pecan nuts. 

4. Place in the oven for 45 minutes and bake until golden brown.
