Usage Instructions	Feeding guide: Infant formula: The feeding table is based on the average requirements of infants. Do not use more or less than the quantities indicated, unless you are advised to by your doctor. During the first 2 weeks, refer to medical advice. Always respect the following rule: 1 level scoop of powder in 30 ml of water. Age - average baby weight in kg - N degrees of bottles per 24 H - volume of previously boiled water in ml - N degrees of level scoops per feed 1 scoop = 4.6g): 2-4 weeks - 3 to 3.8 - 7 - 90 - 3. 4-8 weeks - 3.8 to 4.8 - 6 - 120 - 4. 8-12 weeks - 4.8 to 5.6 - 5 - 150 - 5. 3-4 months - 5.6 to 6.4 - 5 - 180 - 6. 4-5 months - 6.4 to 7 - 4 - 210 - 7. 5-6 months - 7 to 7.5 - 4 - 210 - 7. How to use this pack: Instructions for use are available in 5 languages under the cap. To open, remove the plastic seal and remove tamper evidence strip on the rim of the pack. There is a handy leveller built into the pack. Store your scoop in the lid so that it is kept safe and secure. Click the lid securely shut to keep your powder fresh. Preparing and storing your baby's feed: Because powdered milks are not sterile, failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill. The baby should always be held upright while feeding. Refer to the feeding guide or advice from your healthcare professional when mixing the feed. 1. Always wash your hands and clean every-thing used to mix the feed. 2. Sterilise the bottle and teat, or feeding cup and spoon by boiling in water for 10 minutes. 3. Boil clean, safe drinkable water and pour measured amount of water into the bottle of feeding cup. Allow to cool. 4. Using only the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built in leveller. Do not press/heap the powder. 5. Add the correct number of scoops of powder to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful. 6. Immediately cap and shake the bottle vertically and vigorously for 10 seconds or mix thoroughly by stirring the feeding cup with a sterilised spoon for 45 seconds until the powder is fully dissolved. 7. Cool feed by holding under a running tap, or placing in a container of cold water. Check the temperature of the feed and if necessary, continue cooling. Once at a suitable temperature, feed immediately. 8. Wash the bottle or feeding cup after feeding. Important feeding and storage advice: For hygiene reasons. Only one feed should be prepared at a time and consumed within half an hour. Discard unfinished feeds as soon as possible. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, as hot spots may occur and cause scalding. Never leave your baby alone during feeding.
