Muratie Ben Prins Cape Vintage Red Wine Bottle 750ml
A luscious red blend composed of traditional Port varietals like Tinta Barocca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Francisca and Souzão. The single vineyard grapes were originally planted in the 1960s, giving the wine a robust flavour and long ageing potential.

Each sip of this unique red blend is extremely flavourful, with notes of hazelnuts covered in dark chocolate to black cherries macerated in Kirsch. It also imparts savoury undertones like truffle and tobacco. Violet and rose floral aromas with hints of plum pudding and Christmas spice enchant the nose. The lithely strong structure is complemented by brisk acidity and warming alcohol. A wine of the highest calibre, it is seamlessly integrated after two years in old 225L French oak barrels and will continue to reward by bottle-ageing for at least the next two decades.
