Experience the richness of Zanele's Beef Potjie, simmered to perfection with tender beef, potatoes, and carrots. Perfect for an Easter feast.

Directions

Coat/dust beef pieces with brown onion soup.

Heat the oil in a pan. Brown the beef pieces. Add onion and thyme. Mix until onion is browned. Now pour in beef stock and potatoes and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes. Add carrots and cook it for another 10 minutes.

  • 50g brown onion soup
  • 3. 20ml cooking oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp. fresh thyme
  • 3 cups beef stock
  •  4 medium potatoes, cut into cubes
  • 2 carrots, diced
