Description

What’s a South African Easter without a braai – and we’ve got the perfect recipe for your table! It’s a Tangy Snoek recipe, fresh from Chef Zanele’s kitchen.

Fire up the braai because once they have a taste, the whole family will be wanting more. And it’s not just easy to cook, it’s easy to shop for too, with all the ingredients at your local Shoprite. Prep in minutes, then cook and serve – pure South African flavour in every bite.

Directions

1. In a bowl, combine the sweet chilli sauce with the lemon juice, garlic, fresh coriander, salt and pepper.

2. Slice the peppers into medium-thick strips.

3. Place the snoek inside a large piece of foil with the peppers. Top with the marinade mixture from the bowl, making sure to cover the snoek with it completely. Wrap the ends of the foil together over the snoek so it is completely contained within.

4 Cook the fish on the braai for 12 to 15 minutes, remove carefully from the foil, then serve and enjoy!
