Zanele’s Pele Pele Grilled Quarter Chicken Meal

Directions
1. Pre-heat your oven to to180C.
2. Pat the chicken dry with a kitchen towel and season with salt and pepper.
3. In a bowl, mix garlic, butter, lemon juice and Homegrown Pele Pele Sauce. Allow chicken to marinate in the sauce for at least 15 minutes.
4. Place chicken in a roasting pan and roast in the oven for 40 minutes.
5. Continuously brush the remaining marinade onto the chicken while turning regularly until cooked through.
6. Alternatively, flame-grill the chicken until cooked through.
7. Serve with braaied sweetcorn, a fresh bread roll from the Shoprite bakery and fried chips.

- 80ml melted butter
- 80ml lemon juice
- 1 cup Homegrown Pele Pele Mild or Hot Sauce
- Potatoes; fresh or frozen
- 4 sweetcorn cobs; braaied
- 4 fresh bread rolls
