Aunty Amina’s atchar business was born from a need to survive.
Following a divorce, she was left unemployed with two kids to feed. Supported by her spiritual mother, who taught her how to make lemon atchar, Aunty Amina started Exotic Taste.

At first, she started making it out of her home kitchen and supplying local shops. Eventually, the shops required a more formal approach – labelling and tagging her products with additional details; and soon Exotic Taste was found on even more shelves.

After some time, Aunty Amina’s demand increased even more, and now she employs staff and runs a small factory to bring her delectable atchar to even more consumers.
